Residents wake up to noise of burglars
Residents in the 2400 block of North 12th Street reported a burglary in progress about 11:31 a.m. Feb. 25, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A victim stated that suspects entered the house while they were sleeping, according to the report. The The victim was awakened to noise made by suspects in the house, the report stated. The suspects took property and fled the area, the report stated.
Shots fired at house
A victim heard gunfire about 3:35 p.m. Feb. 25, and one of the bullets hit the victim’s house, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
There were multiple persons inside the house, including two juveniles, according to the report.
Shots fired from two vehicles near Riverview
Persons in two vehicles were reported shooting at each other near the 7400 block of Riverview Avenue about 4:03 p.m. Feb. 25, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Victims said they heard a bullet hit the vehicle they were in, according to the report. There was a small amount of damage to the vehicle, police reported.
