Two persons have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Laron Briggs on Jan. 28.
Wyandotte County District Attorney Mark A. Dupree Sr. has charged Lacricia Leak-Myers, 30, with first-degree murder and aggravated attempted robbery.
Also charged with first-degree murder and attempted aggravated robbery in the same incident was Gary A. Winters, 33.
Briggs, 25, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, was shot inside a Pizza Hut in the 4300 block of Rainbow Boulevard on Jan. 28.
