Stolen auto wrecks
A stolen auto was wrecked about 1:32 a.m. Feb. 8 in the 1200 block of Pacific Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

An officer patrolling in the area located a stolen vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, according to the report. The suspect did not yield and a vehicle pursuit was initiated.

The driver wrecked a short time later and fled, the report stated. The suspect was taken into custody.

Shooting into home reported


A shooting into an occupied dwelling was reported at 11:57 a.m. Feb. 7 in the 1100 block of Hilltop Road, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

According to the victim, the suspects shot one round into the living room, the report stated. There were no injuries.

Officer suffers minor injuries in collision


An officer suffered minor injuries in a collision about 4:17 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 10600 block of Parallel Parkway, according to a social media report from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

A car failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the side of a police car, according to the report. It caused the police vehicle to run onto the median, the report stated. There was a minor injury to a police officer.

Aggravated robbery reported on Tauromee


Aggravated robbery was reported at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 2300 block of Tauromee Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

A suspect struck the victim with an unknown blunt object, according to the report. The victim stated the unknown suspect took property belonging to the victim when the victim fell to the ground, the report stated.

Aggravated domestic assault reported


Aggravated domestic assault was reported at 10:08 p.m. Feb. 7, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victims got into their car, the report stated. Suspects drove past them and pointed guns at them, according to the report. The suspects then fled and could not be located, the report stated.
