An injury-accident was reported at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 3 on eastbound I-70 over northbound i-635, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
A Chevrolet Cobalt struck road debris, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the north concrete wall, according to the trooper’s report. The Cobalt then crossed all lanes of traffic and struck the south concrete wall, the report stated. The vehicle came to rest facing northeast.
The driver a 44-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas, man, had a possible minor injury, the report stated.
A passenger in the Cobalt, a 55-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the report.
