An injury-accident was reported at 6:15 a.m. Jan. 29 on eastbound I-70 near the I-435 exit.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, a Toyota passenger car lost control on the bridge and struck the inside barrier wall.
As the Toyota came to a stop, it was struck by a Ford passenger car, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Toyota, a 35-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas, was not injured, according to the report.
The driver of the Ford, a 21-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas, woman, had a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
