Kansas City, Kansas, police were called to the 8000 block of Greeley Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 on a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found an 18-year-old male on the front porch, deceased, a police spokesman stated.
The identity of the victim will be released when there is positive identification and family notification, the spokesman stated.
The case is being handled by the Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
