Police ask public’s assistance in investigating homicide

Police are asking the public to assist in identifying a person of interest and vehicle in a homicide investigation.

According to a spokesman, officers were called to the 2200 block of Franklin Avenue at 4:32 p.m. Dec. 9 and found a deceased male, Angelo Ramirez, inside a residence.

The police department’s Major Case Unit is asking the public to provide any information on a picture of a vehicle and person of interest in this incident, according to the spokesman.

The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
