Rape reported
A rape was reported at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 19, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim had become intoxicated with the suspects, and the victim passed out, according to the report. When the victim awakened, the victim’s clothing was ripped and the victim was aware of the rape, according to the report. The victim had injuries and was treated at a hospital, the report stated.

Victim’s vehicle struck by bullet
A shooting into an occupied vehicle was reported at 2 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 100 block of South 14th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim was in a work vehicle when the victim heard shots, according to the report. The victim got down for safety. After the victim got up, the victim saw the suspect vehicle drive off, the report stated. The victim’s vehicle was hit by a bullet in the side mirror. The victim did not believe the victim was the target. The victim had no injuries, the report stated.

Victim reports gunshot wound
A victim went into a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim was walking about 2:10 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 1800 block of Pacific Avenue and unknown suspects shot the victim for no reason, according to a victim statement to police. The victim was unwilling to cooperate and did not want to prosecute, the report stated.

Rape case reported
A rape and aggravated indecent liberties case was reported at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 18, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. The victims were taken to a hospital.

Forgery reported
A victim stated that two checks were signed, but not by the victim, in a report at 4:03 a.m. Jan. 19 in the 2800 block of North 76th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
