Today’s high to be near 44, slight chance of rain tonight

Today, temperatures will reach a high of about 44, with mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

There is some patchy fog this morning in Wyandotte County, and tonight, there is a slight chance of drizzle after 9 p.m., the weather service said.

Snow and a wintry mix are back in the forecast for Thursday night, the weather service said.

On Friday, snow and sleet will be likely in the morning, with the potential to have an effect on the morning commute, according to the weather service. Temperatures on the weekend will be cold.

Today, patchy fog is possible before 10 a.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 44 with a calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, there is a slight chance of drizzle after 9 p.m., with a low of 38, according to the weather service. An east southeast wind of 6 mph will become southwest after midnight.

Wednesday, it will be mostly cloudy, then gradually sunny, with the temperature falling to about 35 by 5 p.m., the weather service said. A west southwest wind of 7 to 13 mph will become north in the afternoon, with winds gusting as high was 23 mph.

Wednesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 16 and a north wind of 6 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 33 and a light and variable wind becoming east around 6 mph in the afternoon, the weather service said.

Thursday night, there is an 80 percent chance of snow, mainly after midnight, with a low of 27, according to the weather service.

Friday, there is a 90 percent chance of snow and sleet before 9 a.m., then rain, the weather service said, with a high of about 47.

Friday night, there is a 70 percent chance of rain before 4 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., then a chance of snow after 5 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 28.

Saturday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 35, the weather service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 18, according to the weather service.

Sunday, the high will be near 32 with partly sunny skies, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 17, according to the weather service.

On Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 30, the weather service said.
