Aggravated domestic assault, criminal damage reported
A victim told police that at about 11 p.m. Dec. 17, the victim had a dispute with a suspect who swung a machete at him.
According to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, the suspect hit a door instead of the victim, causing damage to the door. The victim was not injured.
Officers tried to locate the suspect, but were unsuccessful, according to the social media report.
