Aggravated assault, battery reported
An aggravated assault and domestic battery case was reported at 1:57 a.m. Dec. 17, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A victim stated that a suspect bit the victim twice during an argument. The suspect allegedly pressed a knife against the victim and then whispered threats to the victim, according to the report. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, according to police.
Injury accident reported
Kansas City, Kansas, police responded to an injury accident in the 1100 block of South 12th Street on Monday evening, according to a social media report by the police department.
A vehicle slid off the road, struck a truck, and then the truck struck a person and hit a building, the report stated. A pedestrian suffered very minor injuries, according to the report. The driver of the first vehicle was cited, police stated.
