Police investigating shooting in Village West area
An aggravated assault and criminal damage case was reported at 10:37 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the 1800 block of Village West Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Victims and suspects began arguing in a business, according to the report. The argument was stopped by an officer.
A short time later, the victims were walking out to their vehicle when the suspects began shooting at the victims, according to the report.
The victims were not injured, the report stated. Nearby cars were damaged by gunfire, according to the report.
