Police arrest driver on DUI charge after pursuit
Kansas City, Kansas, police officers tried to stop a vehicle at 8:35 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 1900 block of North 14th Street, but the driver fled, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers pursued the vehicle, and the driver was arrested on driving under the influence charges, according to police.
Stolen auto recovered
Kansas City, Kansas, police officers were dispatched to recover a stolen auto at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 1600 block of Washington Boulevard, according to a social media report from the police department.
When officers arrived, they saw a suspect get out of the driver’s seat of the stolen vehicle, according to the report. The suspect, who was a felon, was taken into custody. A gun and illegal drugs were found on the suspect, according to the report.
