Temperatures to reach 60s today

Today’s high will reach about 62 degrees, with rain in the forecast for later this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Higher than usual temperatures will continue on Wednesday and Thursday, before dropping back into the 40s on Friday, according to the weather service.

On Wednesday afternoon and overnight into early Thursday morning, rain and isolated thunderstorms are possible, the weather service said. No severe storms are expected at this time.

Cooler weather will follow the front moving in on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the weather service.

Precipitation is possible on Friday and Saturday, but confidence is low in both how great a chance and where the precipitation will occur, the weather service said. Friday night, there is a 30 percent chance of rain and snow, the forecast stated.

Today, it will be sunny with a high near 62 and a west wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 43, according to the weather service, and a southeast wind of 3 to 8 mph.

Wednesday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers after noon, with a high near 65, the weather service said. A south wind of 9 to 15 mph will gust as high as 25 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is in the forecast.

Wednesday night, there is a 90 percent chance of rain and possibly a thunderstorm, according to the weather service. There will be a steady temperature around 60, and a south wind of 14 to 17 mph, gusting as high as 33 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.

Thursday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 57, and a west wind of 8 to 15 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon, the weather service said. Winds may gust up to 25 mph.

Thursday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 31, according to the weather service.

Friday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain after noon, the weather service said. The high will be near 42.

Friday night, there is a 30 percent chance of rain and snow before 9 p.m., then a chance of snow between 9 p.m. and midnight, according to the weather service. The low will be around 27.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 50, the weather service said.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 31, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny with a high near 56, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 35, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 55, the weather service said.
