Cold today and Friday, with temperatures rising to 62 on Saturday

The Wyandotte County forecast has changed with only cold weather, not snow, in the forecast today.

Chilly conditions are forecast for Thursday and Friday in Wyandotte County, but no hazardous weather, the National Weather Service said. The temperature was 28, with a wind chill reading of 19, at 9 a.m. Thursday.

There was originally a chance of snow in the forecast this morning, but instead, storms are in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas.

There will be a slight warmup for the coming weekend, according to the weather service.

The passage of the cold front will determine if Sunday will be pleasant or blustery, the weather service said. The forecast currently shows a better chance for pleasant temperatures south of I-70 on Sunday.

A strong cold front will move into the area on Sunday night, with a chance for minor snow accumulations on Monday, Veterans Day, according to the weather service.

Today, it will be sunny with a high near 38 and a northeast wind of 8 to 11 mph, becoming southwest in the afternoon, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be clear, with a low of 23 and a south wind of 5 to 7 mph, becoming calm in the evening, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 44 and a light south southeast wind, becoming south 6 to 11 mph in the morning, the weather service said.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 33, and a southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 62 and a southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph, the weather service said.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 42, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 56, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 24, according to the weather service.

Monday, Veterans Day, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 30, the weather service said.

Monday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of around 13, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, it will be sunny, with a high near 28, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 17, according to the weather service.
