A shooting into an occupied dwelling was reported about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the 500 block of Northrup Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A victim told police he heard several gunshots, then a round entered his residence. There were no injuries, according to police.
Our home was also hit by the gunfire, damage was discovered after daylight . We are currently waiting for the police to come and take a report
