A black sport utility vehicle rolled off the bridge, killing the driver, at 18th Street Expressway and Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
According to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman, the male driver died of his injuries in the accident. There were no other occupants of the SUV.
The SUV was traveling southbound on 18th Street Expressway when it left the roadway, the police spokesman stated.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit- Critical Collision Response Team.
