Shooting into occupied home reported
A shooting into an occupied dwelling was reported at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 700 block of Miami Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a social media post by the Kansas City Kansas, Police Department. An unknown suspect fired several shots into the victim’s residence while the victim was inside, according to the report. A second residence also was damaged.
Suspect arrested for stalking
A suspect was arrested for stalking about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a police social media post. After being released from jail, the suspect went to the victim’s house, violating a temporary restraining order, according to police. He was found hiding in the back yard and was taken into custody, police stated. He also caused damage to a police car after he was arrested, police stated.
