Suspect vehicle pursued at 18th and State
• At North 18th and State Avenue, 3:51 a.m. Aug. 26, officers saw a vehicle with switched tags, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. The suspect fled as officers tried to stop the vehicle. There was a pursuit for a short distance before the pursuit was terminated, police stated.
Windows of business damaged on South 12th
• At the 1100 block of South 12th Street, 3:14 a.m. Aug. 26, officers found that windows of a business had been damaged in a felony criminal damage case, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Aggravated robbery reported on Strong
• At the 2700 block of Strong Avenue, 9:34 p.m. Aug. 24, officers responded to an aggravated robbery call, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. The victim was driving a car with a friend and two other males in it when one of the males displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects fled in the victim’s car. There were no injuries.
