The victim of a homicide on Aug. 17 in the 5100 block of Cleveland Avenue has been identified, police stated.
The victim was Charles L. Morris Jr., 22, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
Police officers went to the 5100 block of Cleveland about 7:57 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot, the spokesman stated.
Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department personnel also responded and confirmed the victim was deceased, the spokesman stated.
