A fatal accident was reported about 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at 123rd Street and Marxen Road, according to police.
A pickup truck was traveling northbound on 123rd Street when it left the road, coming to rest in a heavily wooded area, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
The male driver of the truck, who was the only one in it, died from injuries sustained in the accident, the spokesman stated.
The incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team.
