A car-deer accident was reported on southbound I-435 at Leavenworth Road at 9:25 a.m. Monday, June 17, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Toyota Rav 4 was traveling southbound on I-435 when a deer entered the road and the vehicle collided with the deer, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver, a 31-year-old woman from St. Joseph, Missouri, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the trooper’s report.
