The Leavenworth Road Association Kids Fishing Derby Saturday at Wyandotte County Lake had 81 kids registering for the event.
The event was co-sponsored by the Unified Government Parks and Recreation.
Several volunteers helped with the fishing derby. The Police Athletic League club donated 13 fishing poles as give-aways.
The event had nice, sunny weather and several trophies were awarded.
