The Knights of Columbus at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2203 Parallel Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, will hold the fourth annual Mayfest breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19. The menu includes scrambled eggs with chorizo, fried potatoes, refried beans, tortilla, fruit cocktail, coffee and punch. Tickets will be $6 for adults and $4 for age 10 and under.

The Central States Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventists will be the host of a Community Blood Center blood drive from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Youth Center Conference Room, 3321 Garfield Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. “Scripture Study and Reflection” will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The program is facilitated by Heather Neds.
The “Gospel Non-Violence” study group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.

Memorial Day Masses are planned on Monday, May 27, by Catholic Cemeteries of Northeast Kansas. Masses will be at 9 a.m. May 27 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery and 9 a.m. May 27 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. More information is at www.cathcemks.org.

The Rt. Rev. Cathleen Chittenden Bascom, the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas, will attend a “retreat day” from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kansas. The leadership of the parish will plan its future course. The parish will observe the sixth Sunday in the Easter season at 10 a.m. May 26.
