Police have identified the victim of a fatal accident at 2:16 p.m. Monday, May 6, at 34th and Metropolitan Avenue.
David Brunson, 51, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, died in the accident, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A second driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesman stated.
An initial investigation revealed two vehicles were driving in opposite directions in the 3400 block of Metropolitan Avenue when they collided, the spokesman stated. One vehicle rolled over.
The spokesman stated the exact cause of the accident was under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit – Critical Collision Response Team (CCRT).
