Three persons had possible minor injuries in K-7 crash

An accident on Wednesday, April 24, on northbound K-7 at Bonner Springs resulted in some minor injuries, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.

The accident was on the north end of Bonner Springs in Wyandotte County, the trooper’s report stated.

The driver of a Ford Focus was driving erratically on northbound K-7 and made a lane change in front of a Dodge Ram, then stopped, according to the trooper’s report. The Dodge Ram struck the Focus in the rear, and then a Western Star truck hit the Dodge Ram in the rear, the report stated.

The driver of the Focus, a 44-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas, man, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 78-year-old Basehor, Kansas, man, had a suspected minor injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.

The driver of the Western Star truck, a 48-year-old Pleasant Hill, Missouri, man, had a possible injury, the report stated.
