Preparing for Polski Day

Thousands of cookies were prepared today for Polski Day, which will be Saturday, May 4, at All Saints parish, 8th and Vermont, Kansas City, Kansas. On the menu for the annual event will be Polish specialties such as golabki (cabbage rolls), pierogi (filled dumplings), kielbasa (Polish sausage), kapusta (sauerkraut), powitica and kolacki. The event will include a parade, a Polka Mass, a festival and live musical entertainment. (Staff photo)
