Preparing for Polski Day
Saracyewski Smith was one of several volunteers making thousands of cookies today to prepare for the 35th annual Polski Day celebration on Saturday, May 4, at All Saints parish, 809 Vermont Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. All the proceeds from Polski Day will go to All Saints parish. On the menu for the annual event will be Polish specialties such as golabki (cabbage rolls), pierogi (filled dumplings), kielbasa (Polish sausage), kapusta (sauerkraut), powitica and kolacki.
