“Scripture Study and Reflection” will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The program is facilitated by Heather Neds.

A revival with Father Chester Smith is scheduled at Our Lady and St. Rose Church, 8th and Quindaro. “Jesus Is Our Inheritance” is the theme of the revival. Father Smith was scheduled to speak at Masses on Sunday, as well as at 7 p.m. Monday, March 4, at Our Lady and St. Rose; at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Our Lady and St. Rose, and at 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday, March 6, at Our Lady and St. Rose.

St. John the Baptist Men’s Club is sponsoring jumbo shrimp dinners at 5:30 p.m. March 15 and April 12 at St. John’s Catholic Club gym, 414 Barnett, Kansas City, Kansas. The dinners will cost $16.

Shrimp and fish dinners will be sponsored at St. John the Evangelist, 2910 Strong Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, from 5 to 7 p.m. March 22 and April 12. The cost of dinner will be $12 for a large meal; $8 for a small meal; and $8 for fish.

St. Patrick Catholic parish, 94th and State Avenue, will sponsor fish dinners on Fridays in Lent. The dinners will begin at 4:30 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $10 to $11 for adults, $6 for children, and $30 for families.

Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kansas, will observe the first Sunday in the Lenten season at 10 a.m. March 10. A study session using the “Walk in Love” curriculum will follow the service.

Persons may receive ashes at three times, between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Ash Wednesday, March 6, at Wyandotte United Methodist Church, 7901 Oakland, Kansas City, Kansas.
