Sporting KC drops match to Houston, 3-1

Last night Sporting Kansas City took a loss against Houston Dynamo in MLS soccer action at Sporting Park, Kansas City, Kan. The final score was Houston Dynamo 3, Sporting Kansas City 1.

At the beginning the game was delayed because of heavy rains. After that the battle truly began. Both teams truly played their hearts out in a grueling match. Scoring the only Sporting KC goal in the match was Dom Dwyer.

Sporting Kansas City, 12-8-6, remains in second place in the Eastern Conference, one point back of D.C. United. Houston’s record went to 8-13-4. Houston is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
