More snow possible Wednesday night and on weekend

Slick spots and partially covered snowy roads remain across some portions of the region from the weekend snow storm, according to the National Weather Service.

A slight chance for a light wintry mix is possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning along the I-70 corridor, the weather service said. The overall effects appear minimal at this time.

The next chance for accumulating snow will be possible late Friday into Saturday, according to the weather service. There is still uncertainty about the details of this potential snowfall.

Today, it will be cloudy with a high near 34 and a southwest wind of 5 to 7 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, there could be patchy fog before 11 p.m. and after 2 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 29 with a southwest wind of 6 mph.

Tuesday, there could be patchy fog before 10 a.m., with a high near 43 and a southwest wind of 5 to 8 mph, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, the low will be around 26 with a southwest wind of 6 mph becoming light and variable after midnight, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 37, the weather service said. A light and variable wind will become northeast around 6 mph in the morning.

Wednesday night, there is a 30 percent chance of rain, snow and freezing rain before 10 p.m., then a slight chance of snow and freezing rain between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., then a chance of snow after 11 p.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 30 with less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation possible.

Thursday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 40, the weather service said.

Thursday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 27, according to the weather service.

Friday, there is a 50 percent chance of rain and snow before 1 p.m., then a chance of rain between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow after 5 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 37.

Friday night, there is a 70 percent chance of rain and snow, which then becomes all snow after 7 p.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 19.

Saturday, there is a 50 percent chance of snow with a high of 21, the weather service said.

Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 2, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny with a high near 18, the weather service said.
