Kansas City, Kansas, police responded to a stabbing call in the 1400 block of North 38th overnight that apparently resulted from a card game.
The victim was playing cards when he was punched twice in the face by the suspect, according to a social media post by the police chief.
The victim punched back, then sat down, according to police. Then the suspect cut the victim in the head with a butcher knife, the police chief reported.
The victim sought treatment at a hospital, police stated. The suspect was arrested.
