A rollover accident on northbound I-635 south of Metropolitan Avenue about 11:23 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, sent three persons to the hospital, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Suzuki Grand Vitara was northbound on I-635 when the vehicle lost control, struck the barrier wall and then rolled, according to the trooper’s report. It was snowing at the time of the accident. Northbound I-635 was closed for a short time because of the accident.
The driver of the Suzuki, a 51-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had a minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
A 50-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman in the Suzuki had a serious injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A 4-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, boy who was a passenger in the Suzuki had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
