A man was injured in a shooting about 3:48 p.m. Saturday near 17th and Central Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to a police spokesman, the victim was struck in the legs and is in stable condition.
The suspect fled the area on foot and is not in custody, according to the spokesman.
