Enjoy doughnuts with Santa
Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to enjoy doughnuts with Santa Claus from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Kensington Community Center, 2900 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. There will be doughnuts, hot cocoa or juice. It is a free event. The host is the Wyandotte County-Kansas City, Kansas, Parks and Recreation Department.

Breakfast with St. Nicholas planned today
Breakfast with St. Nicholas is planned from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Holy Family parish, 513 Ohio Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The event is sponsored by Resurrection School. The cost is $6 per person. The breakfast of pancakes and sausage will be catered by Chris Cakes.

Holiday ornament crafts planned
Those who attend a craft program from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library at Wyandotte County Lake, 91st and Leavenworth Road, will decorate wood slices in celebration of the winter holidays. The library will provide all necessary supplies, up to three wood slices per participant. Those attending may bring holiday cards to cut up and add a personal touch to ornaments. Preposada Navidena will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Conference Room A, South Branch Library, 3104 Strong Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.

Craft program to be Saturday
Color Craze, a craft program, will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the craft room at the West Wyandotte Library,1737 N. 82nd St., Kansas City, Kansas. The library will provide materials and the individuals participating will chose to draw or color, including coloring pages and mandalas. The program is for all ages. Christmas in Kolograd Dance planned
The auditorium of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 420 Barnett, Kansas City, Kansas, will be the site of a Christmas in Kolograd Dance from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Tickets are $10 for adults, with those 12 and younger free. There will be sausage sandwiches and beverages for sale. Dance music will be by the Kolograd band.
