Breakfast with St. Nicholas is planned from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at Holy Family parish, 513 Ohio Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The event is sponsored by Resurrection School. The cost is $6 per person. The breakfast of pancakes and sausage will be catered by Chris Cakes.

The Gospel Non-Violence Study Group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The group is facilitated by Peg Burns Kerbawy.

The auditorium of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 420 Barnett, Kansas City, Kansas, will be the site of a Christmas in Kolograd Dance from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Tickets are $10 for adults, with those 12 and younger free. There will be sausage sandwiches and beverages for sale. Dance music will be by the Kolograd band.

Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kansas, will observe the second Sunday in the season of Advent at 10 a.m. Dec. 9. The parish will be part of the Historic Westheight Holiday Homes Tour from noon until 5 p.m. A service of lessons and carols will be presented at 5 p.m.

The Historic Westheight Holiday Homes Tour will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. This year the tour includes five homes, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church as well as Wyandotte High School. The annual Nativity display is planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Cathedral of St. Peter parish center, 409 N. 15th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Many nativity scenes will be displayed, with refreshments available and a bake sale.
