Data-driven street preservation is one of the items on tonight’s Unified Government committee meetings agenda.
The Unified Government Public Works and Safety Committee is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 in the fifth floor conference room at City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
The UG Administration and Human Services Committee meeting is scheduled to follow the Public Works and Safety meeting.
The agenda for the Public Works and Safety meeting includes a resolution for a lease-purchase agreement with Axon to supply tasers to the Police Department; a resolution authorizing the donation of equipment from the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department to Piper High School, Tonganoxie Fire Department and the Historical Society; a revised block party permit policy to change language concerning liability; a presentation on data-driven street preservation; the 2020-2023 public works capital maintenance improvement projects; and an update on the agreement with Kansas City, Missouri for long-term biosolids treatment.
On the agenda for the Administration and Human Services Committee meeting are an ordinance amending private onsite wastewater systems; a revision to human resources policies; a discussion on updating the city-wide master plan with area plans; and information about Municipal Court’s actions to improve outcomes for parking violation citations.
