A “Souls to the Polls” event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the New Bethel Church, 745 Walker Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
Expected to participate in the event, where voters can get rides to the polls, are Sharice Davids, Democratic candidate for U.S. representative, 3rd District; Laura Kelly, Democratic candidate for governor; and former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
Those attending should bring their identification cards or driver’s licenses to vote.
A “Souls to the Polls” event also will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 9301 Parallel Parkway.
The event will include a potluck dinner.
