A fire at the McDonalds in Bonner Springs on Wednesday resulted in the restaurant being closed temporarily.
According to Bonner Spring Fire Chief Dennis Hubbel, there was no structural damage and no one was injured in the fire.
Hubbel stated the fire was in the fryer and duct work. The call came in a little after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
McDonalds had cleanup crews on the scene soon after the Fire Department left, and Hubbel expected the restaurant would reopen soon.
