A man died this afternoon after a fall from a tree-trimming vehicle in the 8200 block of Garfield Avenue, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
Police and emergency crews responded around 12:52 p.m. Oct. 19.
The man, in his mid-40s, was trimming branches when the box portion of his work truck appeared to snap away from the lift boom, the spokesman stated.
The man fell from the box, and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he died, according to the spokesman.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is investigating the incident.
