A candidate forum is scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Upper Jewell building, Kansas City Kansas Community College, 7250 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
Candidates for contested state representative positions and for District 1 of the Kansas Board of Education have been invited.
The forum is sponsored by KCKCC, Business West and other neighborhood business revitalization groups.
The forum is open to the public. There are plans to show the forum later on the college’s cable television station.
