A candidate meet-and-greet event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Faith Deliverance Family Worship Center, 3043 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
The event’s sponsors include the Community Health Council, Econ Avenue, Historic Northeast-Midtown Association, KC United, NAACP KCK Chapter, NBC Community Development Corp., Northeast Economic Development Corp. and Unity with a Purpose.
Candidates for the Nov. 6 general election have been invited.
