An I-435 lane over the Metropolitan Avenue bridge will be reopening earlier than expected, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
Originally scheduled to reopen on Friday, Aug. 15, the lane now will reopen at 3 p.m. today, Aug. 14, a KDOT spokesman said.
The bridge deck is being repaired on I-435, between Kansas Avenue and K-32.
