More cool weather is in the forecast today from the National Weather Service.

Temperatures were at 49 degrees about 8 a.m., and may rise to a high near 73 today, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

There is a chance of rain on the weekend, the weather service said.

Today there will be sunny skies and a south southwest wind of 6 to 10 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear with a low of 53 and a south wind of 5 to 7 mph, according to the weather service.

Friday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m., with a high near 65, the weather service said. There will be a north northeast wind of 6 to 13 mph gusting as high as 20 mph.

Friday night, there will be a 50 percent chance of showers with a low of 47, according to the weather service, and a northeast wind of 8 to 10 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.

Saturday, there is a 50 percent chance of showers, with a high near 62, the weather service said. An east wind of around 9 mph will become south southeast in the afternoon.

Saturday night, there is a 20 percent chance of showers before 1 a.m., with a low of 59, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 82, the weather service said.

Sunday night, the low will be around 65 wit partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 81, the weather service said.

Monday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low of 66, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 82, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low of 70, according to the weather service.
