The Kansas City, Kansas, Area Chamber of Commerce will offer “The Best of KCK and WYCO” Business Expo from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City, Kansas.
Regional businesses of all categories and sizes will be showcased at this event, according to a spokesman.
“We have more than 60 vendors registered and we are anticipating approximately 400 attendees for this event,” said Daniel Silva, president and CEO of the Kansas City, Kansas, Chamber of Commerce.
“We encourage the public to join us and celebrate all the great businesses impacting KCK and Wyandotte County, and to sample the unique ‘flavor’ of our business community,” he said.
Ticket prices are $10 for members, and $15 for non-members (tickets will be sold the day of the event but interested parties are encouraged to register online via KCKChamber.com). A ticket includes:
• Two drinks
• Heavy hor d’ oeuvres
• Free parking, courtesy of Nebraska Furniture Mart
• Giveaways and raffle prizes
• The opportunity to get a “taste” for our diverse and collaborative business community
Businesses represented range from large corporations to local non-for-profits, and from varying industries including local restaurants, health care providers, media companies, artists and banks, among many others.
Again this year, the KCK Chamber will incorporate an award component for booth participants. The booths will compete to win in three categories – Most Innovative Booth, Most Interactive Booth and Tastiest Booth.
