A hit-and-run crash was reported about 7:17 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, on westbound I-70 near 18th Street exit, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A driver was injured and taken to a hospital after the crash, the trooper’s report stated.
According to the report, a Subaru Legacy was changing lanes when it was struck by another vehicle, which left the scene of the accident.
Authorities described the second vehicle only as a van.
The driver of the Legacy was a 19-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, according to the trooper’s report.
