Gov. Jeff Colyer has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff from sun up to sun down Monday, Aug. 27, to honor U.S. Sen. John McCain, who died Saturday, Aug. 25.
“Senator McCain will long be remembered for his years of dedicated service to our nation,” Gov. Colyer said, “He displayed great courage and strength in the way he lived his life. We are grateful to him for his devotion to this country and send our deepest condolences to his family as they grieve his passing.”
