Road projects currently underway on Wyandotte County highways

Roadwork taking place in Wyandotte County today, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation, includes:

K-7: Northbound and southbound K-7 is reduced to one lane from 43rd Street in Johnson County to Parallel Parkway in Wyandotte County from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. with short-term ramp closures for the same time, through Friday, Sept. 7.

I-435:
Northbound and southbound I-435 will be reduced to one lane from the Missouri River to Donahoo Road for asphalt patching and overlay work from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. every night but Sunday night. The closure is in effect through Saturday, Oct. 13.

I-70 at I-635: The eastbound I-70 to northbound I-635 ramp closure bridge repair project continues, with the ramp closed through Friday, Nov. 2.

18th Street Expressway: Northbound and southbound U.S. 69, the 18th Street Expressway, continues to be closed from Kansas Avenue to Ruby Avenue for bridge repair on the Kansas River Bridge, through mid-November 2018. Ramps from I-70 to southbound 18th Street Expressway are closed for bridge through mid-November. The ramp from Kansas Avenue to southbound 18th Street Expressway and a ramp from Ruby-Metropolitan Avenue to northbound 18th Street Expressway are closed through mid-November.

Lewis and Clark Viaduct: Westbound I-70 continues to be closed past Broadway Boulevard in Missouri to 3rd Street in Kansas City, Kansas, for bridge replacement, through Dec. 31, 2019. Ramps from westbound I-70 to Minnesota Avenue, Washington Boulevard and Fairfax Trafficway continue to be closed for the westbound I-70 bridge replacement, in effect through Dec. 31, 2019.
