Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating the shooting death of a man in the 5500 block of Leavenworth Road on Wednesday evening.
At about 5 p.m. Aug. 15, police responded to a shooting in the 5500 block of Leavenworth Road, and discovered a male who had been shot, a spokesman stated.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries, according to the spokesman.
The homicide is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Criminal Investigations Division, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
