Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide about 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, in the 500 block of South 12th Street, according to a police spokesman.
When they arrived at the location, officers found a victim, a man in his 30s, who had been shot, the spokesman stated.
The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, and died there, according to the spokesman.
The identity of the victim will be released upon positive identification and family notification, the spokesman stated.
