An accident at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, on eastbound I-70 near the 57th Street exit resulted in two injuries, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A semi was eastbound on I-70 when it changed lanes and struck a Honda Accord in the side, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Accord, a 44-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
A passenger in the Accord, a 47-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man, also was injured and was taken to the hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the semi, a 57-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, was not injured, according to the trooper’s report.
